Wrestling loses at home to Division II opponent Emmanuel

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon wrestling team fell at home to Emmanuel College 31-16 on Wednesday night.

The Hawks had four wrestlers pick up wins against the Division II Lions. Ryan Brooks (125 pounds) won the first match of the night by an 8-0 decision. Deon Maxwell (165) won by decision 7-1.

Dieondiere' Jefferies (184) won by forfeit while Jesse Rowlen (285) closed out the match with a 10-6 win.

Huntingdon will host Shorter University on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Wilson Gym.
