Hawks fall to Spartanburg Methodist

ROANOKE, Va. – The Huntingdon wrestling team faced Spartanburg Methodist College on Friday and fell 25-19.
DeAndre Beck (141 pounds), Deon Maxwell (165), Wyatt Miller (174) and Layne LyBrand (197) each earned victories for the Hawks.
Beck won an 8-6 decision while Maxwell, 18-2, and Miller, 18-1, won by technical falls. LyBrand won by forfeit.
The Hawks will compete in the Estes Environmental Star City Open in Roanoke, Va. on Saturday. Matches will begin at 8 a.m.
