FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A total of 119 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Friday. The student-athletes, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,441 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College President J. Cameron West recently announced the promotion of Eric Levanda to Director of Athletics. Levanda has spent more than a decade as Huntingdon’s Associate Director of Athletics and Director of Operations.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College Director of Athletics Eric Levanda announced the hiring of Courtney Harville as the athletic department’s Director of Operations on Thursday.

Men's golfer Drew Mathers and women's basketball player T.I. Duncan were honored as the Huntingdon Male Student-Athlete of the Year and Female Student-Athlete of the Year during Monday night's Awards Ceremony.

Wrestling team competes in Lower Midwest Regional

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Huntingdon wrestling team competed in the NCAA Division III Lower Midwest Regional on Saturday. The fifth-year program won four matches, scored six points and finished 17th.

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – Five Huntingdon wrestlers placed in the top four of their weight classes in the Southeast Wrestling Conference Tournament on Saturday.

Hawks earn eighth win of the season in split with Ozarks and Greensboro

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon wrestling team earned a split against a pair of Division III programs on Saturday’s Senior Day. Huntingdon lost to the University of the Ozarks 30-21 before beating Greensboro 22-20. The fifth-year Hawks, who broke the program record for dual-match wins in a season earlier this month, extended their season record to eight wins with the victory over Greensboro.

GAFFNEY, S.C.  – The Huntingdon wrestling team earned a split on Sunday to break the program record for wins in a season. The Hawks fell to Limestone University 30-12 before closing the day with a 39-14 win over Spartanburg Methodist College.

LAURINBURG, N.C.  – The Huntingdon wrestling team defeated NAIA St. Andrews University 37-18 on Saturday.                        The win was Huntingdon’s sixth dual-match victory of the season, tying the fifth-year Hawks’ record for wins in a season.

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Huntingdon wrestling team battled Division II Emmanuel College to the final weight class on Tuesday before losing 24-23 in a tiebreaker.

Wrestling team earns split in home opener

December 01, 2018

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon wrestling team earned a split on Saturday against a pair of NAIA teams in the Hawks’ first home matches of the season. Huntingdon opened the day with a 24-11 win over Truett-McConnell before losing to Brewton-Parker 34-13. The win over Truett-McConnell was the Hawks’ second straight against the Bears.
