Huntingdon beats Southern Virginia, falls to 6th-ranked Mount Union
SALEM, Va. – The Huntingdon wrestling team won one match and lost one match in the Southeast Duals on Saturday.
The Hawks defeated Southern Virginia University 37-16 before falling to sixth-ranked Mount Union 54-0.
The Hawks won seven weight classes against SVU, including two by pin and two by technical fall. Kaleb Fontenot (157 pounds) and Joseph Pearson (285) both won by pin and Michael Mort (141) and Toren Pollard (149) each won by technical fall.
Cody Dixon (184) won by decision, Ryan Brooks (125) won by forfeit and Wyatt Miller (174) won by disqualification.
