Huntingdon splits with Brewton-Parker and Central Baptist
MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Huntingdon wrestling team split against a pair of NAIA opponents on Friday.
The Hawks lost to Brewton-Parker 47-(minus)1 and beat Central Baptist 46-6.
In the Central Baptist match, the Hawks won in eight weight classes. Jacob Smith (157 pounds) won by technical fall and Michael Mort (141), Quintez Pearson (149) and Mac Hirsh (184) each won by major decision. Tristan Powell (133), Gabriel Pittman (165), Jayson Spencer (174) and Jack Haury (197) each won by forfeit.
