The win was the second of the season for the Lady Hawks (2-6, 2-2 Great South Athletic Conference) and marked the end of a seven-game road stretch to open the season.

"I was very happy with the team's performance today," Huntingdon women's soccer coach Robert Milner said. "This was our best overall team performance yet. I know the girls were excited to finally play a home game and we appreciated the support of the fans today."

Josie Byard scored Huntingdon's first goal and Mary Kathryn Allen made it 2-0 in the first half. Ashlie Fristoe scored the Lady Hawks' final two goals in the second half. Fristoe's first goal came off of a corner kick by Dana Phillips.
