Huntingdon women's soccer loses to Oglethorpe

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Huntingdon women's soccer team allowed two goals in the first half and one early in the second half in a 3-0 loss to Oglethorpe on Wednesday.

Clara St. Urbain scored both first-half goals for Oglethorpe (3-5). She also had an assist on Jessie Gregerson's goal in the second half.

Huntingdon keepers Jenny Burnash and Josie Byard combined for seven saves. Burnash had two saves and allowed one goal in a little less than 38 minutes. Byard played the final 52 minutes, allowing two goals and recording five saves.

Ashlie Fristoe took two shots for Huntingdon and Sam Havel and Kendall Brazell each took one.

Huntingdon (2-7) hosts Salem on Saturday at 1 p.m.
