Huntingdon women’s soccer loses at Agnes Scott

DECATUR, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team took six shots on goal and keeper Jenny Burnash made 13 saves but Agnes Scott pulled out a 1-0 win on Wednesday.

Clara Kienzle scored in the 53rd minute for Agnes Scott.

Mary Kathryn Allen took three shots for Huntingdon (2-10), including two shots on goal. Kathleen Penney, Josie Byard, Ashlie Fristoe and Dana Phillips each took one shot on goal for the Lady Hawks.

"We didn't get the result we wanted, but we played well," Huntingdon head coach Robert Milner said. "These girls are improving and we're heading in the right direction. The girls are giving a great effort and we're going to keep working for better results."

Huntingdon hosts Covenant on Saturday at 3 p.m.
