MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Keeper Jenny Burnash recorded 10 saves but Covenant took a 2-0 win over the Huntingdon women's soccer team on Saturday.
Covenant (11-2-1, 6-0 Great South Athletic Conference) scored on a penalty kick in the 21st minute and added a second goal in the 51st minute.
Josie Byard had one shot for Huntingdon (2-11, 2-5 GSAC).
The Lady Hawks host Birmingham-Southern on Monday at 4 p.m.
