MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Agnes Scott's Stephanie Hicks found the net in the 107th minute of a double overtime game as the Scotties defeated the Huntingdon women's soccer team, 1-0, Wednesday afternoon.
The Scotties took 12 shots for 10 on-goal, as Huntingdon took just four with two on-goal. Christian Boldin led the Lady Hawks with two shots, and Carlie Reed and Clara Tapplin each picked up a shot.
Helene Somda led the Scotties with six shots on-goal while Hicks' only shot of the game was the game-winner. Huntingdon goalie Josie Byard picked up nine saves in goal while Sydney Holstad had two for Agnes Scott.
The Lady Hawks return to action Saturday in a doubleheader against USA South opponent Ferrum. Kick is set for 12 p.m.
