ATLANTA – The Huntingdon women' s soccer team gave up one goal in the first half and four goals early in the second half in a 5-1 loss to Oglethorpe on Tuesday.
It was just the second time the Lady Hawks (3-5-1) have allowed more than one goal in a game this season.
Courtney Staton scored Huntingdon's goal in the 55th minute of the game. Staton and Kate Garrigan combined for two of the Lady Hawks' four shots and both shots on goal. Kira Jo Bohlke took Huntingdon's other two shots.
Huntingdon keeper Josie Byard finished with 11 saves in 90 minutes.
Huntingdon travels to Maryville College on Saturday for a 3 p.m. game.
