Women’s soccer loses at Averett

DANVILLE, Va. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team lost to Averett University 5-0 on Sunday.

Madi Critcher and Clara Tapplin each took one shot for Huntingdon.

Freshmen keepers Brittany Houseman and Katie Bonner combined for 14 saves. Houseman played a little more than 57 minutes, finishing with 11 saves and four goals allowed. Bonner played the final 32:59 and recorded three saves and one goal allowed.

Huntingdon returns to action on Wednesday at conference rival Covenant at 4 p.m.
