Women’s soccer comes up short against Piedmont

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team battled Piedmont but lost 3-0 on Saturday. Piedmont (11-4-1, 7-1-1 USA South) is tied for second in the conference standings.

Madi Critcher and Clara Zubrick each had one shot on goal for Huntingdon (2-13, 1-8 USA South). Kira Bohlke took two shots for Huntingdon and Carlie Reed had one shot.

Keeper Katie Bonner played the entire game, recording 14 saves and allowing three goals. Bonner has 77 saves this season.

The Lady Hawks return to action on Tuesday at Wesleyan College at 6 p.m.
