MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team managed to outshoot William Peace on Sunday, but fell 2-1 in overtime.
The Lady Hawks (2-4, 0-2 USA South) outshot William Peace 16-6 and had eight shots on goal to the Pacers' four.
Both Pacer (3-3-1, 2-0 USA South) goals came on penalty kicks in the sixth and 91st minute.
Freshman Kyelie Cudnohoske scored her first collegiate goal with an assist from fellow freshman Jenna Maschino in the eighth minute to tie the game 1-1. Cudnohoske finished with three shots, two shots on goal and one goal.
Huntingdon finished with six players taking at least one shot on goal. Camryn Carter finished with two shots on goal. Maschino, Kira Bohlke, Abi Olmeda and Madi Critcher all had one shot on goal.
Goalkeeper Leah Leach finished with two saves and two goals allowed.
Huntingdon plays at Meredith on Saturday at noon in a USA South match.
