MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team took on USA South opponent Greensboro College on Sunday and tied 0-0 in double overtime. This was the Lady Hawk's second straight double overtime tie.
Abi Olmeda led Huntingdon (3-6-2, 1-4-2 USA South) with four shots and one shot on goal.
Shelby Clark had three shots and one shot on goal. Carlie Reed and Madi Critcher each took two shots and one shot on goal.
Jenna Maschino and Camryn Carter both had one shot and one shot on goal.
Greensboro outshot Huntingdon 15-9 in regulation. The Lady Hawks took six shots in the second overtime but were unable to find the goal.
Leah Leach finished with 11 saves and no goals allowed in her second shutout in back-to-back days.
Huntingdon will host Covenant College on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Huntingdon soccer field.
