Women’s soccer loses to Agnes Scott

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team lost to Agnes Scott 1-0 on Saturday, in the opening match of USA South Athletic Conference play for the Lady Hawks. 

Agnes Scott (3-1-0, 1-0 USA South) scored the game's only goal in the 53rd minute and outshot the Lady Hawks 16-11.

While the Scotties took 16 shots, only four were on target. Huntingdon (1-2-1, 0-1 USA South) placed six shots on target, but was unable to find the back of the net.

Jenna Maschino had two shots on goal while Reilly Feeney, Kira Bohlke, Madi Critcher and Jazmin Martinez each recorded one shot on goal. Abi Olmeda led the Lady Hawks with three shots.

Keeper Leah Leach recorded three saves and allowed one goal.

Huntingdon hosts Wesleyan on Sunday at 1 p.m. on the Huntingdon soccer field.
