MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team battled Maryville close on Saturday, but lost 2-0.
Huntingdon (3-7-2, 2-6-1 USA South) held the Scots (6-5-1, 6-2-1 USA South) scoreless in the first-half, but Maryville scored in the 69th and 79th minute to pull ahead 2-0.
Shelby Clark and Jazmin Martinez each took one shot for Huntingdon. Leah Leach recorded four saves and allowed two goals.
Huntingdon hosts Piedmont College on Saturday for a 3 p.m. match.
