MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team lost 2-0 to Piedmont on Saturday in a USA South Athletic Conference matchup.
Huntingdon (3-8-2, 2-7-1 USA South) allowed an early goal in the 10th minute to fall behind 1-0. The Lady Hawks held the Lions (9-5-1, 8-2-1 USA South) scoreless until the 62nd minute.
Piedmont totaled 16 shots during the game.
Camryn Carter took both of Huntingdon's shots and placed one on goal.
Leah Leach made seven saves and allowed two goals in the loss.
Huntingdon hosts Salem College on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup. The Lady Hawks will be honoring two seniors before the game.
