Women’s soccer falls to Agnes Scott in OT

DECATUR, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team lost to Agnes Scott 1-0 in overtime on Saturday.

Despite the loss, with Wesleyan's tie against LaGrange on Saturday, Huntingdon clinched the sixth spot in the West Division of the USA South Athletic Conference. The top six teams in the West and East Divisions advance to the conference tournament.

Agnes Scott (6-9-1, 4-8-1 USA South) scored the game winner 27 seconds into overtime.

Jazmin Martinez led Huntingdon (3-10-3, 2-9-2 USA South) with four shots on goal. Abi Olmeda had two shots on goal.

Leah Leach came up big for Huntingdon, recording a career-high 17 saves while allowing one goal.

The Lady Hawks close out their regular season at Wesleyan on Sunday for a 12 p.m. conference matchup.
