Huntingdon shuts out LaGrange for win No. 8

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon women's soccer team tied two program records with a 2-0 win over LaGrange College on Wednesday night.

The Lady Hawks recorded their seventh shutout to earn their eighth win of the season. The eight wins ties the mark set by the 2004 team for the most wins during the NCAA era. The seven shutouts ties the program's NCAA-era record set in 2013.

Huntingdon took the lead when Camryn Hale scored on an assist from Kayley Yates in the 37th minute. Reilly Feeney closed the scoring in the second half with a goal in the 79th minute.

Quick Facts: Huntingdon's 13 shots on goal Wednesday night were the second most this season … 10 games into the season, the Lady Hawks have already broken two of the program's season records for the NCAA era … the new records in progress are assists in a season (17) and points in a season (67) … LaGrange finished with one shot on goal, marking the sixth time this season the Huntingdon defense has held an opponent to two shots on goal or less
