Huntingdon shuts out Wesleyan in USA South opener

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team opened USA South Athletic Conference play with a 10-0 win over Wesleyan College on Saturday.

The Lady Hawks built a 3-0 lead in the first half and scored five goals in a six-minute span early in the second half.

 

Records: Huntingdon (3-2-3, 1-0 USA South); Wesleyan (0-6-1, 0-1 USA South)

 

Quick Fact: The 10-goal victory is the largest margin of victory for the Lady Hawks since a 10-0 win over Johnson University in 2014.
