Lady Hawks beat Berea on Senior Day

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team picked up its second straight shutout and the sixth shutout of the season with a 4-0 win over Berea on Saturday.

Senior Meredith Harrison helped set the tone for Senior Day, scoring the first goal 90 seconds into the game on an assist from Mac Pearson. Camryn Hale made it 2-0 in the 40th minute with a goal off of an assist from Kayley Yates.

Freshman Sam Curtis added the final two goals, scoring twice in the first nine minutes of the second half. Curtis' first goal came in the opening minute of the second half.  

                                   

Records: Huntingdon (5-4-3, 3-1 USA South); Berea (6-5-0, 1-3 USA South)

 

Notable: With a 3-1 conference record, Huntingdon is third in the West Division of the USA South. Piedmont and Maryville are tied for first at 4-0 in the conference.
