MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team fell to Belhaven University 3-2 in double overtime on Wednesday.
The Lady Hawks took the first lead of the game with a goal from Abigail Brown late in the first half before a Belhaven goal made it 1-1 at halftime. Huntingdon regained the lead in the second half when Erin Cembrale scored on an assist from Faithe Korponay in the 66th minute.
Belhaven answered with one goal in the final eight minutes of regulation and ended the game in the first two minutes of the second overtime.
