Calhoun’s three goals lead Lady Hawks in conference opener

BEREA, Ky.  – Junior Alex Calhoun scored the first three goals of her Huntingdon career to help lead the women's soccer team to a 3-2 win over Berea College on Saturday.

Calhoun scored in the first minute of the game on an assist from Alexis Louk and added two goals in the second half to seal the Lady Hawks' conference opener. Calhoun scored the game-winning goal on an assist from Allison Fisher with 10:05 to play in the game.

Following Calhoun's first goal of the game, Berea tied the score in the sixth minute of the game and took a 2-1 lead in the first three minutes of the second half. An unassisted goal by Calhoun in the 62nd minute tied the game and helped set the stage for the go-ahead goal in the 80th minute.
