Huntingdon earns third conference win in five games

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – Lindsay Paskman scored on an assist from Alex Calhoun in the first half and the Huntingdon women's soccer team made the goal count in a 1-0 win over LaGrange on Wednesday night.

The win was Huntingdon's third in five games. With a 3-1-1 record in the USA South, the Lady Hawks are tied for third in the West Division.

Huntingdon controlled the tempo against LaGrange, taking 20 shots on goal and 35 total shots. The Lady Hawks did not allow LaGrange to take a shot.

Despite the number of shots, it took Paskman's goal off of a corner kick by Calhoun in the 35th minute to give Huntingdon the lead. Goalkeepers Kylie Kersh and Courtney Dye combined to earn the shutout.
