Huntingdon beats Agnes Scott, secures berth in conference tournament

DECATUR, Ga.  – The Huntingdon women's soccer team scored twice in the first 13 minutes of the game and knocked off Agnes Scott 4-1 on Wednesday.

With the win, Huntingdon earned a berth in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament. This is the fourth straight season the Lady Hawks have qualified for the tournament. Tournament seeding will officially be announced following the completion of the regular-season conference schedule.  

Huntingdon and Agnes Scott combined to score three goals in the first 12:22 of the game. Allison Fisher scored Huntingdon's first goal 84 seconds into the game on an assist from Faithe Korponay. The Scotties answered and tied the game in the fourth minute before Reilly Feeney gave Huntingdon the lead for good at the 12:22 mark.

The 2-1 lead stood until the second half. Camryn Hale made it a 3-1 lead in the 54th minute and Alexis Louk scored the final goal in the 77th minute.
