Huntingdon and Piedmont Earn Men's and Women's Tennis Weekly Awards

 DECATUR, Ga.-Opening up the month of March, the Great South Athletic Conference announces the men's and women's tennis singles and doubles players of the week. Huntingdon sweeps the women's awards with Taylor Clark for singles and Micaela White and Hannah Still securing the doubles honor. On the men's side, Piedmont's Moses Das earned singles player of the week and Huntingdon's Zac Baldwin and Sean Jackson for doubles.

For women's singles, Clark earns Player of the Week after going undefeated 3-0 this weekend and 2-0 in conference play at #1 singles. The conference wins came against Piedmont and Maryville while she earned the third win against Southwestern (Tx.). Das for the men was strong for Piedmont. In two GSAC wins over Huntingdon & LaGrange on back-to-back days, Das won his singles matches at flight one and went 1-1 in doubles as well.

Doubles were swept by the Hawks of Huntingdon with White and Still nabbing it for the women. The duo went undefeated this weekend. 3-0 at #1 doubles, earning two conference wins against Piedmont and Maryville as well. The men's team of Baldwin and Jackson improved to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the GSAC with wins over Piedmont and Maryville this weekend. The duo defeated Piedmont's Moses Das-Patrick Steck 8-3 on Saturday and beat Maryville's Zach Clark-Jimmy Fulton 8-3 on Sunday.
