Huntingdon women’s tennis reaches GSAC tournament finals for 6th straight year

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team eliminated Piedmont in the semifinals of the Great South Athletic Conference tournament on Saturday.

The win sets up a familiar championship match at the University of Tennessee on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Lady Hawks, who are in the finals for the sixth straight season, take on three-time defending GSAC tournament champion Agnes Scott.

In Saturday's match, the Lady Hawks took a 3-0 lead with doubles wins from Katie Scott-Micaela White (No. 1), Taylor Clark-Christian Vick (No. 2) and Hannah Still-Arielle Barraca (No. 3). White's 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles made it 4-0 and Clark's 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles ended the match.
