Huntingdon women’s tennis receives ITA academic recognition

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 2012 Huntingdon women's tennis program was one of 89 Division III teams recognized as an ITA All-Academic team. The Lady Hawks have been recognized with this award every year since 2004.

Along with the team award, Huntingdon's Arielle Barraca, Taylor Clark, Christian Vick and Micaela White were among more than 500 athletes recognized as ITA Scholar Athletes.

The All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above. In order to earn the ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must have a grade point average of 3.50.
