Lady Hawks close out home schedule with win over Spring Hill

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team won five singles matches and two doubles matches to beat Spring Hill 7-0 on Sunday. The two teams did not play matches at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.

The match was the final home match of the season for Huntingdon (12-1). Huntingdon has a 15-match winning streak at home dating to March 2012.

The Lady Hawks beat Spring Hill (11-7) in straight sets in all five singles matches. Senior Katie Scott closed out Senior Day with a win at No. 1 singles and teamed with Micaela White to win at No. 1 doubles.

Taylor Clark (No. 2), Britni Thibodeau (No. 3), Hannah Still (No. 4) and Rory Wilson (No. 5) earned singles wins. Clark and Farrah Mahan won at No. 2 doubles.

Huntingdon travels to Agnes Scott for a conference match on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
