Huntingdon women’s tennis stumbles against Piedmont

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team fell behind in doubles and lost to Piedmont 5-4 on Wednesday.

Huntingdon (8-5, 7-3 USA South) and Piedmont (10-6, 7-3 USA South) are tied for fourth in the USA South Athletic Conference standings.

Hannah Still (No. 2), Arielle Barraca (No. 4) and Tara-Beth Hall (No. 6) won in singles for the Lady Hawks. The wins were the 10th of the season for Still and Hall, who are both 10-2.

In doubles, the team of Still-Barraca won 8-1 at No. 3 to improve to 9-1 this season.

Huntingdon hosts Tuskegee on Friday at 3 p.m.
