Five Huntingdon tennis players earn All-Conference
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Five Huntingdon tennis players were recognized as All-Conference with the release of the USA South All-Conference tennis teams.
On the men's side, sophomore Bobby Foroughian was a first-team selection and freshman Sebastian Riveros Florez was a second-team choice. On the women's side, sophomore Britni Thibodeau and junior Hannah Still both earned second-team honors and freshman Daniela Lozano was a third-team selection.
Foroughian (No. 1 singles) carried a 12-3 record into the conference tournament and is 24-8 in dual matches the past two seasons. Foroughian teamed with Zac Baldwin for a 13-2 record at No. 1 doubles in the regular season.
In his first season with the Hawks, Florez is 9-4 at No. 2 singles. In doubles, he is 10-4 with multiple teammates.
On the women's side, Thibodeau was 5-4 at No. 1 singles in regular-season conference matches and is 21-10 in dual matches the past two seasons.
Still is 12-2 in singles this season and has a career record of 45-8 in dual matches during the past three seasons. Still was 14-1 with multiple teammates in doubles during the regular season.
Lozano was 8-2 in conference play during the regular season and 10-5 overall. In doubles, she teamed with multiple players to post a 10-5 record.
Freshman Justin McQueen and freshman Elayne White were named to the All-Sportsmanship teams.
