Women’s tennis pushes winning streak to seven matches
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team remained atop the USA South Athletic Conference standings with a 9-0 win over Greensboro College on Saturday.
The win was the seventh straight for the unbeaten Lady Hawks (7-0, 6-0 USA South).
Hannah Still (No. 1), Sarah Warren (No. 2), Sandy Mayson (No. 3), Sara Duran (No. 4) and Octavia Pendleton (No. 5) each picked up singles wins and Tara-Beth Hall (No. 6) won by forfeit.
In doubles, the team Caroline McBroom-Warren won at No. 1 and Still-Hall won at No. 2. The team of Pendleton-Duran (No. 3) won by forfeit.
Huntingdon hosts Averett University on Sunday at 10 a.m.
