Lady Hawks in 4th after Day 1 of John McWilliams Fall Invitational
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team picked up two wins at Lagoon Park on Friday on the opening day of the John McWilliams Fall Invitational.
After the first day, Millsaps and West Georgia are tied for first with five points. Birmingham-Southern is third with three points, Huntingdon is fourth with two points, LaGrange is fifth with one point and Point University is sixth with zero points.
The Lady Hawks picked up two wins in singles. Heather Tabor won 6-2, 6-0 in the B draw and Josie Waddell won by default in the A draw. All three of Huntingdon's doubles teams drew a bye on Friday and will begin play on Saturday.
The second day of the tournament will begin on Saturday at 9 a.m.
