Lady Hawks rebound with conference win

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team defeated Maryville College 7-2 to close out its home schedule on Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Hawks improved to 11-4 overall and picked up their seventh USA South Athletic Conference win of the season.
In singles, Sandy Mayson (No. 2), Josie Waddell (No. 3) and Heather Tabor (No. 4) won in straight sets while Zoya Robinson (No. 1) won in three.
In doubles, Mayson-Tabor (No. 1), Robinson-Caroline McBroom (No. 2) and Octavia Pendleton-Waddell (No. 3) earned wins for Huntingdon.
The Lady Hawks travel to Covenant on Saturday for an 11 a.m. match.
