Lady Hawks stumble at Piedmont

DEMOREST, Ga.  – The Huntingdon women's tennis team suffered its first conference loss of the season with a 7-2 loss at Piedmont on Friday.

The loss snapped a 10-match winning streak for the Lady Hawks (15-2, 6-1 USA South) and dropped Huntingdon to second in the USA South West Division. Piedmont (11-3, 7-0 USA South) is first in the West Division.

Caroline McBroom and Lucy Burch won Huntingdon's two matches. McBroom won 7-5, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Burch won 6-2, 7-5 at No. 6 singles.
