TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team picked up their fifth consecutive win of the season with a 4-3 win over Tuskegee on Saturday.

Due to a new NCAA scoring format for Division II programs this season, the scoring is handled differently than in Division III. In Division III, a team receives a point for each victory in doubles. In Division II, one point is awarded to the team that wins two or more of the doubles matches.

Per NCAA rules, when teams from different divisions compete, the rules of the home team's division are applied.

In singles, No. 1 Josie Waddell, No. 5 Clayton Waring, and No. 6 Kacey Stephens each earned wins for the Hawks. Waddell won in three sets.

In doubles, No 1. Waddell-Zoya Robinson and No. 3 Waring-Alex Burnham picked up a win.

Records: Huntingdon (7-2), Tuskegee (6-5)

Coming Up: The Hawks will travel to Agnes Scott on Wednesday to face the Scotties at 1: 30 p.m.
