HUNTINGDON VOLLEYBALL DROPS TWO MATCHES IN FINAL DAY OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN TOURNAMENT

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Abby Brown totaled 19 kills and Alyssa Eason had 41 assists but the Huntingdon College volleyball team dropped its final two matches in the MaK Attack Tournament on Sunday.

The Hawks (1-3) fell to LaGrange in four games, 25-23, 23-25, 21-25, 12-25 and lost to host Birmingham-Southern in three games, 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.

Mallorie Richardson finished with 25 digs in the two matches.

Diane Humphreys had four kills against Birmingham-Southern and Victoria Hurd had 12 digs in the match. Against LaGrange, Amy Putman had 16 digs.

Huntingdon plays in the Berry tournament on Friday and Saturday in Mount Berry, Ga. The Hawks open the tournament with Covenant College on Friday at 4 p.m. and will play Mississippi College at 6 p.m.
