Huntingdon volleyball improves to 5-1 in the GSAC

ATLANTA -- The Huntingdon volleyball team picked up its sixth straight win with a 25-22, 25-12, 25-15 win over conference rival Spelman on Wednesday. With the win, the Lady Hawks evened their overall record at 9-9 and improved to 5-1 in the Great South Athletic Conference.

Kelly Kahumoku, Abby Brown and Ally Brislinger each had seven kills to lead Huntingdon. Kahumoku also had eight digs and Brislinger had two blocks. Lauren Rozof added six kills and eight digs and Kali Martin followed with five kills, six digs, four aces and one block.

Lexi Rangel finished with 32 assists, nine digs and five aces.

Huntingdon plays at Faulkner University on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
