Huntingdon's Kahumoku named GSAC Volleyball Player of the Week

ATLANTA – Huntingdon outside hitter Kelly Kahumoku was one of three student-athletes recognized by the Great South Athletic Conference on Wednesday with the release of the GSAC Players of the Week.

Kahumoku was named the GSAC Volleyball Player of the Week for her performance during a three-match stretch last week. Kahumoku recorded 44 kills and 23 digs in the three wins. She closed the week with 15 kills and six digs in a five-game win over Martin Methodist on Saturday.

The GSAC also recognized Spelman cross country runner Heather Smith and Covenant women's soccer player Sheri Koenig.
