Huntingdon’s Martin named GSAC Volleyball Player of the Week

ATLANTA - Huntingdon freshman Kali Martin was one of three players to be recognized by the Great South Athletic Conference with the release of the GSAC Players of the Week.

Martin was named the GSAC Volleyball Player of the Week for her performance against Faulkner, Salem and Tuskegee. She recorded a total of 22 kills, 25 digs, three blocks, five assists and five service aces in the three matches last week. Entering Wednesday's match with Wesleyan, Martin led Huntingdon with 47 aces this season and was second on the team with 127 kills and 150 digs.

The GSAC also recognized Covenant cross country runner Beth Burgess and Agnes Scott soccer player Clara Kienzle.
