Lady Hawks volleyball closes out Huntingdon Jubilee

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon volleyball team wrapped up the Huntingdon College Jubilee with two matches on Saturday.

The Lady Hawks opened the day with a 25-22, 23-25, 25-22, 25-23 loss to Mississippi College and closed the day with a 25-13, 25-17, 25-14 loss to Birmingham-Southern.

Senior Ally Brislinger totaled 17 kills on the day for Huntingdon (0-4). Sophomore Kali Martin added 13 kills, freshman Hannah Logan had 21 assists, sophomore Lexi Rangel finished with 20 assists and freshman Lauren Condon had 32 digs.

Brislinger (12 kills), Kalen Morgan (nine kills) and Martin (seven kills) combined for 28 kills against Mississippi College (2-2). Logan recorded 17 assists in the match and Rangel had 11 assists. Condon had 18 digs. Morgan had three aces in the match and five for the day.

In the Birmingham-Southern match, Martin had a team-high six kills and Rangel had nine assists. Condon finished with 14 digs in the match.

Huntingdon plays in the Birmingham-Southern Invitational next weekend and opens the tournament on Friday against Sewanee.
