Huntingdon volleyball drops pair of conference matches

LaGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon volleyball team came up short in a pair of USA South Athletic Conference matches on Saturday at LaGrange College.

Playing at a neutral location, Huntingdon lost to Covenant 25-20, 25-18, 25-20 and fell to Maryville 25-11, 25-11, 25-18.

Kali Martin and Kalen Morgan each had 17 kills on the day for Huntingdon (3-12, 0-4 USA South) and Lexi Rangel and Rachel Dunlay each recorded 20 assists.

Against Covenant (9-6, 2-2 USA South), Martin had 10 kills and 12 digs, Morgan had nine kills, Rangel and Dunlay each recorded 12 assists and Lauren Condon finished with 19 digs. In the loss to Maryville (5-14, 3-0 USA South), Morgan recorded eight kills and Martin added seven kills. Rangel finished with eight assists and 10 digs and Dunlay had eight assists and seven digs.

Huntingdon travels to Pensacola Christian on Tuesday.
