Huntingdon volleyball closes out conference play

MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The Huntingdon volleyball team wrapped up USA South Conference play with a pair of losses at Maryville on Saturday.

The Lady Hawks fell to Maryville 25-12, 25-16, 25-20 and lost to Covenant 25-22, 25-23, 26-24.

Against Maryville (21-15, 16-0 USA South), Kalen Morgan had six kills for Huntingdon and Lexi Rangel and Rachel Dunlay each had five kills. Rangel also had eight assists and nine digs and Dunlay had six digs. Bobie Wilson recorded eight digs and Storm McWhorter and Kali Martin each had seven digs.

Martin had nine kills and eight digs against Covenant (19-10, 11-5 USA South), Morgan added eight kills and Rangel finished with 15 assists and 11 digs. Dunlay recorded 13 assists and seven digs, Lauren Condon had eight digs and Wilson had seven digs.

Huntingdon (5-26, 1-15 USA South) closes its season on Sunday at Sewanee at 1 p.m.
