BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon volleyball team lost to third-ranked Emory and Birmingham-Southern in a tri-match on Tuesday.
The Lady Hawks fell to Emory 25-20, 25-22, 25-12 and lost to the Panthers 25-15, 25-19, 25-15.
Against Emory (24-2), Brooke Garrison recorded seven kills, Bria Rochelle followed with six kills and Brittany Frost had five kills. Cora Murchison had 13 assists and Lexi Rangel had nine assists, Lauren Condon finished with 17 digs, Bobie Wilson added 11 digs and Storm McWhorter had eight digs.
Against Birmingham-Southern (18-8), Rachel Dunlay had five kills and two block assists, Kalen Morgan had three block assists, Rangel recorded 11 assists, Wilson had 21 digs and Condon finished with 20 digs.
After 11 straight matches on the road, Huntingdon (4-18) returns to Roland Arena on Thursday to play Agnes Scott at 6 p.m.
