What made you feel like Huntingdon was the right place for you? "I was looking at different schools, but when I came on a visit, I ran into Anthony Leigh, who immediately knew who I was. I was surprised that he knew my name and knew who I was. I thought it was cool because it shows that you aren't just a number to fill a roster or classroom, people want to know who you are and want to get to know you."

What has made your Huntingdon experience unique? "The people here. Academically, the professors want to see you excel and try to help you get better. Athletically, the coaches I have had have pushed me to be great on the court but also in the classroom. That has meant a lot to me. Also, there are all sorts of people on campus and everyone is friendly which has been special."

How has Huntingdon challenged you academically and athletically? "Being a science major is pretty hard by itself. Having to balance that with athletics is a struggle, but the professors work with you and challenge you. I've enjoyed my professors pushing me to better in the classroom. It's like having a coach in the classroom with you!"

What has been your biggest highlight as a Huntingdon student-athlete? "Beating Piedmont this season at home in three sets was awesome. I remember playing there my freshman year and I was pretty scared. To be able to beat them was awesome."

As a student-athlete, what is your impression of Division III now compared to your first season? "I didn't have a first impression of Division III when I came to Huntingdon. I came in with an open-mind because we were starting preseason, and I was focused on just playing and getting better. But after three years, I feel that Division III athletes are a bit more motivated."
