MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon volleyball head coach Latonia Brady welcomed 24 players to campus on Wednesday, as the volleyball team was the final fall sport to arrive on campus.

The Hawks bring in 11 freshman and two transfers while returning 11 players from last season's roster.

Huntingdon returns its top three offensive players from last season. Audrianna Hargitt, Bria Rochelle and Kalen Morgan combined for 880 kills and 129 blocks in 2015.

"We're excited about preseason starting on Thursday," Brady said. "Our returners have had two spring seasons and one fall season under this coaching staff and I think they know what to expect. We finished the season really well last year and they should know what it's going to take to compete in the conference.

"I'm really excited about our freshmen," Brady said. "They are very talented but the only concern I have is the mental aspect of their game and that'll come with more experience."

The Hawks open camp on Thursday at 6 a.m. with a conditioning test before practicing at 9:15 a.m. The team closes out its first day with a 6:30 p.m. practice.
