Huntingdon volleyball beats conference rival LaGrange

LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon volleyball team won in straight sets over LaGrange College on Tuesday in a USA South Athletic Conference matchup.
The Hawks won 25-21, 25-20 and 25-15. In the first set, Huntingdon took an early 3-2 lead and never trailed in the final two sets
Huntingdon picked up its 11th win of the season and improved to 5-9 in the conference where they are currently fifth in the USA South West Division while Lagrange is fourth.
Senior Audrianna Hargitt recorded double-digit kills for the sixth straight game with 14 and had a match-high nine digs. Fellow senior Kalen Morgan added 11 kills while freshman Alexis Creasman totaled 10 kills.
Devyn Stringer had a match-high 39 assists, tying a career-high for sets in a match, and recorded four service aces. Shelby Young added seven digs in the win.
The Hawks travel to Oglethorpe on Thursday for their last out of conference match of the season at 6 p.m.
