Huntingdon sweeps MUW and Philander Smith

JACKSON, Miss. – The Huntingdon volleyball team won a pair of 3-0 matches on Friday in the Belhaven/Millsaps Invitational.

The Hawks beat Mississippi University for Women 25-17, 25-20, 25-17 and knocked off Philander Smith 25-21, 25-21, 25-15. The two wins pushed Huntingdon's winning streak to three matches.

Amy Tyma combined for 31 kills in the two matches , Ashley Murphy had 69 assists and April Reese had 31 digs.
