Hawks run in USA South Cross Country Championships
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The Huntingdon cross country program competed in the USA South Conference Championships on Saturday.
The Berea men and women swept the conference titles for a third straight season. Berea won the 13-team men's 8K race with 15 points and an average time of 25:42.84. The Mountaineers won the 15-team women's 6K race with 41 points and an average time of 24:08.17.
The Huntingdon men finished 12th with 318 points and an average time of 34:47.26. With three runners, the Huntingdon women did not earn a team score.

All-Conference Teams: The USA South announced the All-Conference teams and the Sportsmanship teams following the championships. Taylor Chestnutt was named to the All-Sportsmanship team for the Huntingdon men and Mary Stanley was named for the Huntingdon women.
